To position the African Telecommunications Union (ATU) as the driving force of Africa’s connectivity and digital sovereignty, equipping our continent with the capacity to control, develop, secure and govern its digital infrastructure, data, content and usage, in full alignment with Africa’s priorities, values and realities.
I am committed to fully embodying this ambition by transforming the ATU into more than a technical institution: a true strategic, political and operational lever of the African Digital Agenda, one that effectively supports Member States in their digital transition and strengthens Africa's rightful place in the global digital economy.
