Digital technology has become one of the most powerful drivers of sustainable transformation across our continent. It is through digital innovation that Africa can affirm its sovereignty, accelerate its development, strengthen its unity and ensure its voice is heard within global governance.
I am persuaded that Africa has the talent, the technological means, and the cultural heritage needed to emerge as a sovereign, inclusive, and solidaristic digital leader.
Uniting our forces, harmonising our visions and promoting effective digital convergence are the foundations on which we must build a resolutely strong Africa.
It is in this spirit that I seek your trust and support as a candidate for the position of Secretary General of the African Telecommunications Union (ATU).
My vision is clear : to establish the ATU as a central actor and driving force in advancing Africa’s digital sovereignty.
Together, we can ensure that our continent has the means to control, develop, secure and govern its digital infrastructure, data, content and usage, fully aligned with our own priorities, values and aspirations. I am committed to pursuing this vision with determination and accountability, positioning the ATU as a strategic, political and operational lever for the African Digital Agenda, serving our Member States, empowering our youth, driving our economies, and shaping our digital future.
