Digital Champion Award 2025: a recognition of commitment to a sovereign and integrated African digital landscape

Receiving in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Digital Champion Award – Personality Category, on the occasion of the Africa Digital Innovation Summit 2025 (ADIS 2025), is a tremendous honor and a great source of pride.

Beyond an individual distinction, this award recognizes a collective and continuous commitment to the development of digital technology in Central Africa, to the strengthening of initiatives led by OSIANE, and to the promotion of an ambitious vision of a sovereign, inclusive, and harmonized African digital ecosystem.

My sincere thanks go to the ADIS 2025 organizing committee, to the partners, and to all the actors who work every day to make our sub-region a true hub of innovation and digital transformation.

This recognition is also part of the dynamic we are driving within the African Telecommunications Union (ATU), alongside member states, to accelerate digital integration and strengthen regional and continental cooperation.

I dedicate this award to African youth, entrepreneurs, institutions, and all the often discreet but essential builders of digital development on our continent, with a special mention to the Pratic Congo team for its constant commitment.

UAT - 2026 Dakar: A First Day Filled With Meetings and New Initiatives

The first day of the mission was particularly rich and productive.

Following the courtesy exchanges and the official presentation of the mission to His Excellency Mr. AKA-EVY, Ambassador of the Republic of the Congo to Senegal, I took part in the K-SENEGAL Open X organized by @odshub. On this occasion, I addressed a message to Senegalese startups, inviting them to participate in the Osiane Challenge 2026.

I then visited @speedmoves, a Congolese startup based in Dakar. The discussions with its young leaders provided an opportunity to explore several avenues for development and collaboration.
The day concluded with a cultural moment at the exhibition of @Moulaye.

A dense, inspiring first day, full of promising opportunities.
